Betty Brown RN, BSN, CAS

Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, Registered Nurse, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Reiki and hypnotherapy

Betty Brown is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and a Registered Nurse (RN).  She recently completed her Ayurvedic training with the California College of Ayurveda and graduated from University of Minnesota with her  BSN RN in 1992.

As a nurse, Betty worked primarily in Critical Care, Bone Marrow and Cardiac Transplant.  During the last 20 years, Betty transitioned from working in a hospital setting to focus on her passion for health and wellness, engaging in community initiatives promoting preventative health measures. Betty has an understanding of how western medicine addresses health and illness, and realized the missing piece in this health care model is a comprehensive holistic and preventative health system that is accessible for everyone.

Betty incorporates her passion for cooking through the lenses of Ayurveda, where food is considered medicine.  She grew up in S. Korea, where she has fond memories of foraging in the mountains with her mother for herbs and greens used to promote general health and for specific ailments.  Food not only satiates hunger, but supports the body's natural abilities to detoxify, to build new healthy tissues, and to build a strong immune system.  Along with cooking, Betty is also trained in other holistic supportive therapies such as meditation, Yoga Nidra meditation, Reiki and hypnotherapy, which she incorporates in her Ayurvedic therapies.

Contact Betty for an Ayurvedic consultation today by email at betty@bwellayurveda.com or by phone at 614-961-7308.

Welcome to your journey of health and wellness through Ayurveda!

Debbie Shields

Ma’Heo’ O and Okuden Reiki Master, RYT-200 Yoga Teacher

Debbie's passion for Holistic Healing began when her father was diagnosed with cancer over 30 years ago to help find techniques to relieve pain and discomfort. Her journey led to her Yoga, Reiki, Meditation and Sound Healing. Debbie became certified as a RYT-200HR Yoga Teacher in 2016 from Yoga on High, and began studying Reiki with several Master Teachers and became certified in two different Reiki Modalities.

Debbie specializes in Sekoia, Restorative and Yin Yoga and the healing of Ma’Heo’O Reiki. Each yoga class focuses on breath awareness to reconnect the mind, body and spirit with slow mindful movement, staying present in the moment and listening to the intuition deep within the soul.

Ma’Heo’ O Reiki Healing sessions are uniquely tailored for each client's individual needs. Ma’ Heo’ O translated means Great Spirit. The word Ma’ Heo ‘ O is Cheyenne, a Native American language. This system of energy combines the elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire with the Great Spirit to effectively activate and promote healing in the human condition. Ma’ Heo’ O combines the gentle energy of Reiki and the raw power of the elements, the nurturing of the Great Spirit and the sacred practice of using the Medicine Wheel to bring you more into balance.
