Prop Your Practice: A 3-Week Yoga Series with Blocks, Straps, blankets, & Bolsters

In this 3 week yoga series, we’re taking it slow, supportive, and using all the props to find ease in our practice. Whether you're brand new to yoga or just want to explore your practice in a new way, this series is all about learning how to use props like blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters to make poses more accessible, more comfortable, or just more fun.

Each class is 90 minutes. For the first hour, we’ll break down individual poses, explore how props can support you in different ways, and offer space to ask questions and try things out. In the last 30 minutes, we’ll bring it all together in a gentle flow that incorporates what we’ve learned.

Week 1: Seated and restorative 
Ease into the series with supported seated and restorative shapes. Expect deep stretches, seated postures with props and a chance to sets the tone for the weeks ahead.

Week 2: Traditional poses 
We’ll work with classic yoga poses like warriors, twists, triangle, and half moon, adding props to help you find alignment, stability, and a new perspective on familiar shapes.

Week 3: Standing and balance 
This week brings in standing and balancing poses, plus a few playful transitions. We’ll use props creatively to support and challenge you.
