Retreat of Rituals: Returning to Ourselves
Join us for a nourishing gathering of women and an invitation to slow down, soften, and remember the quiet wisdom within.
In a world that often asks us to move quickly and give endlessly, ritual can become a doorway back to ourselves. When the body senses safety, the nervous system can settle, our breath deepens, and we begin to listen more closely—to our bodies, our hearts, and one another.
During this retreat, we will explore simple, yet deeply restorative rituals designed to soothe the nervous system, support well-being, and expand our capacity to meet life with presence and compassion. Together we will experience nurturing practices such as abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-massage), Yoga Nidra, gentle neuro-somatic movement, time for connection and reflection while sipping a warm herbal cup of adaptogenic, stress relieving tea.
These practices invite us into a slower rhythm where care becomes medicine, and pleasure naturally arises as the body remembers how to rest.
This is a space to tend to yourself with kindness, to deepen your connection with other women, and to cultivate the art of deep listening—to the wisdom within and the shared humanity around you.
Come as you are. Leave feeling nourished, connected, and restored.

Mantra Music with Narada Wise
Join Narada Wise, returning after a long hiatus, for an intimate evening of mantra music.—with a twist. Alongside traditional call & response chants and prayers, the night will weave original songs with mantra-inflected reinterpretations inspired by Pete Townshend, Peter Gabriel, and The Beatles—music that has long felt like a personal life soundtrack: grounding what matters, steadying the mind, and letting hope sneak in during seasons of change and loss. Supported by Neal Frey (bass) and Daisy Wise (Vocals), this gathering is equal parts heartfelt and welcoming—whether you sing along or simply listen. Saturday , June 27 7:00 PM at Radiant Yoga. Bring a friend, bring your voice (or just your listening heart), and come share and in an inquiry of sound and stillness.
An Evening of Mantra Music
Seán Johnson & The Wild Lotus Band have been blending ancient mantras with a rich tapestry of musical influences since their formation in 2005.This year marks the band's 20th anniversary, a milestone born from the wreckage of Hurricane Katrina and transformed into a journey of resilience, creativity, and devotion. Through two decades of recording and touring around the country, the band has helped thousands of people find grace and connection through their pioneering blend of East-meets-West mantra music.
Their music seamlessly integrates sacred chants from yoga traditions and beyond with elements of rock, blues, Celtic folk, gospel, and world grooves, creating a sound that resonates with a diverse audience.
Founded by vocalist, harmonium player, and lyricist Seán Johnson, the band includes Alvin Young on bass and guitar, Narada Wise on drums, multi-instrumentalist Chris Rosser, and guest vocalist Beth Gatchell.
The band's debut album, Calling The Spirits, released in 2007, garnered attention for its innovative approach to kirtan music. Subsequent albums, such as Unity, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes World Music Chart, and Mystery, recognized as one of Louisiana's best albums by Offbeat Magazine, have further solidified their place in the global spiritual music scene. Their work has been featured on Putumayo World Music compilations, and they made history as the first mantra-based band to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
What to Expect at the Concert
Attending a Seán Johnson & The Wild Lotus Band concert is an immersive experience rooted in connection and presence. Their warm, inclusive shows invite the audience on a journey through music and chant—encouraging singing, dancing, and reflection. Blending soulful melodies with rhythmic grooves, the band creates an energetic, participatory atmosphere that fosters a genuine sense of community.
Whether you're a long-time follower or new to their music, a concert with Seán Johnson & The Wild Lotus Band offers a welcoming space to experience the transformative power of music and mantra.
"The much-beloved band evoke, conjure and celebrate that universally felt yet impossible-to-define essence that lies at the heart of all things, what Bob Marley once called “a natural mystic, flowing through the air.” -- Alan DiPerna (Rolling Stone)
